This basement showcases bold contrast between the utilitarian exposed ceiling structure, black framed glass doors and concrete textured floor tile against this warm natural white oak custom-built wine storage wall unit, making itself a standalone masterpiece.
The built-in cabinets and bench seat are a functional necessity to house all the fun board games, blankets, puzzles etc., that will entice your time spent here but this beautifully earthy green palette matched with the applied moulding on the door fronts really gives this tv room character that really makes you want to stay just a little longer.
Designer's note
“I’m a huge fan of mixing materials… it adds interest, contrast and depth to any space. The juxtaposition of natural woods against metals, textured fabrics and wallpaper with exposed ceilings is key to this project.”
